mid-week manicure?

Ok, so i was thinking of posting a mid-week manicure post?! Tell me what you guys think :D i was gonna post one on maybe wednesday or thursday? I dunno :D i really need to guys to comment :D

where ive been and my plans :D

Hey:) so i know ive been gone for AGES:) but im back now :D i was dealing with a lot of issues and stuff that i'd rather not share with the world :L but yeah, i have some plans for my blog now.. I think im gonna change the subject of everything. And just do posts about random stuff that interests me like music, photography, drawing and other stuff. There will be still spme fashion and beauty posts if you like :( i think what i'd do is have a little poll. I wanna do posts about my life aswell, so in my next post im gonna do a poll and i want you guys to vote on what you'd like to see around here, and maybe i'll pick different days of the week for different topics?? I dunno :D comment and tell me what you think :D xxxx

Eye makeup: how much is too much?

Eye make up is pretty much essential if your going to wear foundation. But lately, a lot of girls have been "abusing" eye makeup and have been wearing way too much! Of course, it depends on where your going, what your wearing and what time of day it is, but no one should have eyeliner up to their brows for school! To be honest, liquid/gel liner is not necessary for an everyday look. A simple waterline with a pencil and some mascara should be fine. What do you think? Leave comments below :D

trends for summer 2012

I cant wait for summer! its all i think about! i have a fair idea of what trends are going to be in and im pretty sure i know the colours that will be big!
soft pastel colours such as baby pink, baby blue, pinkish orange and pale pinkish red will definatly be in. some bold colours such as blue, orange and red may creep their way into some outfits this year for an outstanding extra pop of colour, but i like to keep it safe and to be honest i never go for the extra pop.

big flowy tops should be in trend. ripped denim shorts and tight fit tank tops. gladiator sandles, converse, keds and regular pumps and ballet flats.
big chunky neckalces with quirky pendants, beautiful big chunky bracelets. cute little stud earings and long feather earrings should come back. also, i have a inkling that the whole 'tucking shirts in to jeans/shorts/skirts' will come back. almost 80's style.
Big, volumous, tousled hair is definatly in! the dry look and not the glossy look. you can achive this by using a dry shampoo (ill do a post on this soon).

This mascara has to be one of the best mascaras i have EVER used!!
it totally gives you extreme volume and never ever ever clumps your lashes! in between each large bristle there is another really small one so every lash get covered! if you can see the tiny bristles on the brush youll understand :)

to be honest, thats all i have to say! this is one of the best mascaras i have ever used :)

Why sleep is important :)

Well, 3 days of midterm left. And strive is on saturday and im meant to sleep over at my friends house on saturday after strive so thats saturday gone, and sunday ill be wrecked from not getting good sleep on saturday. To be honest, i really dont want to go to strive any more. My sleeping pattern is all over the place. Im tired all the time. Bleugh. Im sick of this crap now. Im not going to strive, im not bothered, cause all i want is to get 8 hours sleep at reasonable times. I want to go asleep at 11pm and wake up at 7am. I want a good weekend. One of my resolutions was to fall into routine you know :) and another was to lose weight and if you dont have a good sleeping pattern it makes losing pounds harder and harder. All of you effort is reversed. So whenever your next school/work holiday is, try to get as much sleep as you can to get the most of your free time! Nothing is fun when your eyelids feel heavy and your energy level is down.
Reasons why sleep is sooo important:
•skin can break out
• hair becomes greasy/over dry and brittle
•dark circles under your eyes
• wrinkles will appear on your face earlier
•harder to lose weight
•not enough energy
•harder to concentrate

And thats only a few. Sleep is as essential as water. One can only go about 10 days with no sleep without serious, life threatening damage to your health.

How to: Fishtail braid

Its time to shrug  off the winter layers and step into spring and summer.
one of my favourite hairstyles for summer is the fishtail braid.
its really easy and it keeps you hair out of your way.
 i think the best part of this braid is the fact it looks really complicate to do but is actually so easy!   hope you enjoy :)

Just found out that today ISINT pancake tuesday. Its just plain valentines day. So, happy valentines everybody :) hope you had fun :) my sister is on a baking bonanza :/ shes baking raspberry cheesecake, mascarpone pies and tirimisu. All for 2 people. Her and her boyfriend. Thats just unfair.. What did you guys get for your valentines?

Happy Valentines day!!

I know its tomorrow, but tomorrows pancake tuesday as well and i wanna do a post on that instead :) i have no romantic plans for tomorrow :'( le cry. Thats how sad and alone i an lol jk. My plans are to spend the whole day in bed just watching comedy movies, and eating PANCAKES and going on ragestache.. But thats what i do everyday anyway..but tomorrow, ill be with bronnie and soph! Again, thats what i do everyday....Being a lazy bitch FTW!

essence long lasting eye pencil review

when i say this pencil lasts all day, i mean ALL DAY! this thing last for ages on your eyes! but, one can have too much of a good thing. this pencil was SO hard to get off my eyes! it would last +24 hours and would never come off my eyes even after a shower! so, if this is something you think you would like, then be my guest and go for the purchase! it really easy to aply with the twisty stick so you dont over use it. this may sound weird, but its great for doing flicks at the outer corner of your eyes! its odd, but i found that some eyeliners arent actually that good for it.. anyway, hope i helped!

Drugstore make-up haul

ok, so as you guys know, i went to Dundrum yesterday with my friends, and i stopped at Boots and picked up a few new essentials :) enjoy :)


i picked this up it was roughly €8 or so. i tried it out and its a little clumpy but it really makes your lashes thick and volumous! im not one to experement with makeup, so i dont usually wear this on a daily basis. i would definatly recomend it if your looking for thick, volumous and in-your-face lashes :)

ive been using this one for a while and i just picked up a new bottle. its really good for oily skin. i dont know about dry/normal skin because i dont have it. it definatly needs powder and primer to last all day. it was around €7.50

as you can tell, this one and the one above are matching :) again, ive been using this for some time now and its pretty good. despite the name, it doesnt stay on all day witch really annoys me. again, good for oily skin :)

My friends are actually the best!

Ok so today, my 2 extremely best friends ever, Bronwyn (Bronnie) and Sophie, are going to Dundrum ( a shopping centre in dublin) and bronnie had already made plans to go out with a bunch if friends i dont know, so when i told her me and sophie were going to dundrum and i asked her to come, she got real upset and was like "aw now i dont wanna go out with the others!!"so i said it was ok an that she can cone next time. But then she totally surprised me when she said she'd ditch her other friends for me and sophie! I realise that this story wasbt great, but you should know she never does stuff like that! ok, well i think you oughta know me. i was born on 6 of may. i have cocoa brown hair just below my shoulders, grey blue eyes, and im 5'4. i'm unusualy bad at sports and extremely uninterested, but i like exercising :) im the youngest of 6 kids, i live in ireland, and i have the most amazing friends in the world :) im doing this blog because i love beauty, fashion, make-up, skincare, hair and nail tutorials and designs. i will be posting things such as hauls, reviews, tutorials and even some personal blog posts!
